Description
The VTOL Heavy Cargo Spaceship LT81 from the Lego Technic series is one of three space explorer sets from spring 2024. This model of a futuristic spaceship has lots of details and also some functions on board. The model is designed to carry out heavy transportation to distant planets. In order to be able to take off and land effortlessly without a runway, the transporter has rotating jet propulsion, making vertical take-offs and landings possible. Extendable landing supports are provided to enable landing on all surfaces. To ensure that the model lives up to the description of a heavy-duty space freighter, it also has gripper claws with which the supplied transport container can be picked up, transported and set down again in flight. Another component is a mini rover which is transported with the container. A hole with a handle is incorporated in the rear section to enable the model to be gripped properly for play. This allows you to fly the transporter with one hand and control all the functions with your thumb at the same time. Another highlight is the self-levelling cabin, which always aligns itself horizontally up to a certain angle of rotation. Once again, the many stickers are a little negative, but this is purely subjective.
Thanks to the great price/performance ratio and the fantastic functions, the model gets full marks in the rating.
